I'll call bull$hit... I don't buy that a 500 hp car can run the qtr in low 10 seconds when its as big and heavy as those cars. Manaul tranny and I bet its close to 3600 lbs. It would have to be WAAAY underated and with a pretty slick auto IMHO.

I've seen weirder things...

this one runs 10.56 (still tweaking) through IRS and is real close to the 4000lb mark. Somewhere around 500HP still I think.

I wouldn't call it a production car if there are only going to be 20 made. It is a specialty car. Tons of companies produce specialty cars in low low numbers that are insanely fast.

There are so many carbon fiber parts on that car though... Carbon Fiber driveshaft? Removes 9lbs of rotating mass from the driveshaft... thats gotta free up massive power to the wheels.... I dunno I can see that car running 10's

Them saying this skyline will run tens isn't half as funny as some dude where I work telling me the dodge sr-10 pickup (might have screwed that up :p) ran 7 seconds in the 1/4 mile stock lol. Wonder if they are underating the HP on that car like they usually do?????

500 hp and a Getrag gear box? that sounds like a good recipe for 10's. You should watch the TopGear episode on the Skyline. That car is an automotive masterpiece.

I used to own/race a R34 GTR when I lived in Japan. I had 501 at the wheels and the best quater I ever ran was 11.03. Thats with mods. Not to mention the car was completly gutted, anthything that added weight was taken out, ex: Air Conditioner. I weighed in at a little under 2,000 lbs. So I don't know how he can be that fast, if it came straight from the factory????

weighed in just under 2000 lbs w/ 500 hp and you only ran an 11.03???........you msutve had some HUGE problems with that car.
