I'm in need of a harddrive. I would like a Maxtor 80gb. but will consider anything 20gb or larger if the price is right.

    thanks!!

I have an 80GB Maxtor hard drive that is not in active use now. I had it replaced under warranty recently. How much can you afford to pay?

80GB harddrives are going for $90-100 at Wal-Mart, Radioshack and Bestbuy.

The one I have is a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus with an 8 MB buffer, average seek time of <9.3 ms, Ultra ATA/133, and 7200 RPM.

hmmm; i could probably do $60 for it right now

i have a bunch of civic parts if you are in need of any; i mostly have interior for 5gen coupes; but i do have a few parts for newer, like a set of outside door handles for a EPB civic.

or if you are interested in loading ps2 games to a HD and playing them off that i could help you with that (that's what i'll be using it for)

If you can do $60 then we have a deal. Do you live in the FM area or come to Fargo often? Give me a call at 701-799-4896 if you want to talk about this.

dont buy maxtor. ive been through 3 maxtor hds and i would never buy them again. a lot of people that ive talked to have had problems with them as well. my advice is go with seagate or western digital. they might be a little more expensive, but ive never had any problems with either of them.

I have a Western Digital 7200 RPM for $80 and if you want performance I have 2 x 36GB WD Raptor Hard drives (which are SATA and 10k RPM) and 2x 72 GB Raptors (same thing except with fluid bearing drives) the raptors I'll have to negotiate a price. I also have like 4 60GB Maxtor's, all of them 7200 RPM I can part with one of those for like $40-$50. The maxtor use to be in my X-box and fileserv.

the reason i say maxtor is that is what is recommended to be compatible with the HDloader software i'm using. I have both a seagate and WD and neither will work.

i can't use the SATA drives, it's for my PS2

Maxtor 60 gig for sale. Like I said $40-$50 I will part with it. What kind of mod chip and HDloader are you using? I been modding crap for a long time now and maybe I can help ya out.

i'm using a hacked version of hdloader; i used a gameshark disc to swap and get it loaded onto my memory card
i just need a harddrive to go with it

                                no modchip
