best way to take care of rust...
-
I will be going through this process in about a month or so. The only way to do it is the right way, and that is to cut and weld, otherwise you are just prolonging the return of the rust...trust me. Find a salvaged CRX and cut the good parts off of it, weld it in, call it a day.

the junkyard was johnson's in mandan, they had 1 1990 crx and about 4 or so 86-88 crx's... the 1990 crx was completly stripped. God damn-it... I don't know what i want to do anymore with her

Just do tack welds and start on one corner then do the opposite side and so forth so your not warping anything. Basically scatter your welds and take your time don't weld one after another, after another, after another, just do about three or four small tack welds with a little hobby welder and let it cool after those. Any questions.
