Progress on the Black Blurr

Made a pattern of the glass and ordered up lexan for the front and sides. Should be ready this week.

Gutted and ready for the rollcage. Should be installed sometime this week also.

Got the car running good and went for a quick drive today.

Yep, it's NA until it comes back from the chassis place and I drop in the motor, turbo, tranny, etc. I drove it across town to Elite Chassis last nite, and of course I crossed right in front of a Fargo cop on 13th Ave, and right in front of a Sheriff on Main Ave. Luckily they either didn't notice me or didn't take the time to mess with me.... not having a license plate, or hood, shattered windshield, no blinkers, no seatbelt, etc etc....

Black car has more miles and was in accident. Red car has low miles and in great shape. Which one would you butcher first?

depends on how many more miles it had. Even then, it seems like more work than necissary. Thats just my opinion.

The red car has 74k miles and is pretty mint. The black car has ~140k from what I remember. The black car was hit in the front, and I'm bascally cutting off the front end from the strut towers forward, and building a tube frame. I plan to back half the car next year, so I'm not going to cut the red car apart to do that. It just makes sense to use the black car. Plus, I have my crap apart so often that it really isn't any more work. LOL

For the price of what some people are paying for their honda's, and for what they're dumping into them to make them look like they do, a person could actually buy a Supra...

They're not that expensive anymore...

There really not actually...ive been watching the prices steadily go down over the last few years. Ive been looking at them more recently because my car loan is up next spring...and on top of that ill be getting another annual raise + im in the steady process of training for a job promotion next year also. So im hopeful...but in the next year or two I will own one...no ifs ands or buts!
