So I went there for lunch today with my g/f, just for a quick bite, and I won't be going back to eat inside there ever again. It was ridiculous how many loud, annoying highschool kids were working there. There was a few times I counted 8 employees standing around up by the front tills, being loud, cracking jokes, goofing off, and blabbing to customers and shit. Now I know McD's isn't the place to go for a nice quiet meal, but honestly, come on now. It was bad, like a circus, or actually more like it was the lunchroom at high school. There was 2 girls that worked there talking about when they get their child support checks and bullshit like that. I heard a couple of them swear also, which doesn't usually go over too well in normal businesses. But I guess monkeys will be monkeys. I guess this shit sort of goes hand in hand with all the other dumb shit that is going on lately in this area.

Al ordered a big mac, they gave it to the wrong guy, the guy touched it and played with it, took it outside, and then brought it back, and they then placed it on Al's tray! With finger marks and shit in the bun! We were like uhh wtf! Anyway, I saw this same thing take place there a time after that!

my guess is they are making the best of a bad job, though I dont' know personally about mcd's cause I havnt' eaten at one in years, food makes me sick. but I know I work fast food and it sucks, so we try to have some fun.

they probably are, I'm sure they were bored, they needed to do something. I know people at a different mcdonalds, thats in moorhead, and they talk and whatever when they have nothing else to do, it just wastes time and makes the day go by faster... working at a fast food restraunt isn't the most fun job in the world, they are just makin the best of it

if the manager on duty were a real manager, the kids would have either been sent home early, or been ordered to clean everything in the store at these problem places. the foodservice motto is "if you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean"
i worked at a bk for 5.5 years, i know it's not a calkwalk job, but if you know what you're doing and do what you're told, it can be a pretty comfortable place. if you're the kind of person that's looking for a paycheck without working for it, then you will get harsh treatment and not enjoy the job. -
