After reading all that bitching and moaning I have come to a conclusion. Nick is handeling this very well and im quite impressed. But my conclusion is that mwc1 is a little boy that is impatient and doesnt understand the whole situation, and since its not going his way he is getting upset about it and bitching about it.
I have delt with SLS very little, but from what I have I have come to know that Nick and Kevin both have very good customer service skills. Both were polite and curtious the times I have been in there, and I have looked at quite a bit of there work and it all looks top notch. If I wasnt in such a bad rut with money right now and legal issues id definately have my car at there shop getting some work done!
Now nick has a very good reason your car wasnt done it just sounds like you are a spoiled little brat that expects everything to be done when its done. When your buying a USED motor from japan you cannot expect it to have every part, or run properly... its the gamble you take and the reason they warranty them. Quit your pissing and moaning and realize the whole world doesnt revolve around you.

Just to clarify my position on this matter, I have nothing but respect for SLS/SLD. I know damn well that if I wanted one of the faster DSM's in the area I would go with SLS. Some people go there because they think they are the only shop in town that will touch a dsm (not true), I was merely trying to offer a few alternatives. Jon, it sucks how this has played out for you, but given the information I have in front of me I have to side w/ Tufte on this one. Sorry.

Some people are missing the main point here. The motors are getting very hard to get. The distributors are waiting for them to come over on the boat from over seas, and we all know how long that can take. I know first hand that all of the JDM motors that are sold, are for the MOTOR only, they don't give 2 shits less about what is on the motor. For all you know you could get a motor w/ no valve cover or oil pan, or ANY accessories. They don't care if there's a turbo, or intake manifold, or injectors, or any pullies. I bought a used JDM motor a few years ago for my 1G I used to have and it came with a hole in the oil pan from shipping. I called them up and said I didn't have one, and that I needed one, and they said too bad, we only warranty and sell the MOTOR itself. So that hasn't changed at all. If someone wants to bitch about their car being down because something broke, imagine if your car didn't run for a whole year. I waited on a block to get built, and transmission parts, for a WHOLE YEAR. So I dont want to hear no bullshit about waiting for a few months.

Everyone i talk to in person...says that its bullshit what is happening...but on the forums....total opposite ...kinda funny how that works!!!
And as for my mom being on SLS's Side.....not exactly....she was reasoning with nick...she didnt say your right about everything now did she?

If it's ordered, and you are first in line to get one once they receive them, then it is on its way.

More so I'm tired of listening to you bitch online. Learn to realize your a fucking whining bitch and that the more you type the further and further backwards you go. If you would have avoided threats and trying to be a tough guy whenever this all started you'd probably have a running car, now that the motor has been there almost a week.
