Street Legal's Tonight

Heck I don't even know how to spell that word. Well we shall see, considering there's not much more done to the thing we shall see. I'm sure Rob will have fun driving it anyways.

The track sucked ass tonight. Sure it was good for the first 2 passes, but all downhill after that. I matched my best of 14.5 once again.
I also wanted to give the track a huge thumbs down for tonight as well. That's such bullshit they were going to close at 7:30, but ran for 15 more minutes because that POS mustang broke down. WTF was that all about? I thought they were going to try to keep it open as long as possible. Hell I didn't even leave the track until 8:30 and it was still plenty light out.

IMHO, the track was very fast tonight. Between the burnout box and about 10 feet before the line was slick, but the line was sticky and conditions were good (CALT was around 2000 feet). You know the track is sticky when a 63" bike wants to wheelie through first gear. I can't wait to get some of that cold September air.
I was happy to set the bar a little higher for Dave H. Although I did throw away a 1.50 60' because the tire wobbled/spun on the 2-3 shift.
Congrats to Matt F and Nate B on their impressive showings.
I don't remember seeing a black WRX race though.

I am w/ Troy, I couldn't get traction last night, but then again, they didn't usually let me race in the groove due to street tires. Not too horrible though, did run a 13.22 w/ a 1.75 60'. W/ a little more playing around (I NEED A STIFFER SUSPENSION) I should easily get into the 12's, but if I don't, eh...time to buy more stuff and tune more. Damn this sport gets expensive fast.

Congrats to tjamz for running 13.20's. The new converter brought the subie to life.Congrats to Matt for getting the Probe back into the 11's.
Congrats to Nate for getting soooo close to a 10 sec pass (11.02?)
I got some video of the these cars except the subie, I'll post them when I get a chance. I didn't get their best runs however.

the track was really slick for me with my street tires. my 60' was about a 2.4 every time. and my 1/4 time was a [email protected]

yea..do you happen to have vids of me...the red vw corrado?
i saw my car in the background of the probe vid.
i gotta figure out this new car too, i couldn't get my 60ft down. i was running a 2.4 and i should be able to get a 2.2...that wouldve helped my 15.7 that i was running to, that should be closer to the mid 15s atleast.
ok...i am in it, i went up against the bike in one of the vids...tho that was a slow run.
any vids where i am racing somebody that i was closer to
