Infinity Crack Head!

K, I'm not one to preach about not doing dumb stuff while driving but this kinda stuff really spools me up!

I'm driving down 19th ave and some Crack head in a 4 door infinity blows past me and almost hits the truck in front of me. At this point I'm thinking wow this guy is in a hurry to get someplace.....cool..... stupid but cool. so I turn south onto I-29 and get in the left hand lane and glide past a few people.... him being one of them. All the sudden he whips out and starts tailgating me in 5:30 I-29 traffic. Everytime I try to change lanes to let him pass he gets behind me till finally he rips past me and almost into another truck.

He was driving a late model tan 4-door Infinity......

Like I said, I'm all for a little vehicular fun on the road, but there is a fine line between that and being a stupid a-hole. Go out, have fun but keep it safe because we dont need anyone causing any stupid accidents and giving the cops more reason to watch us.

What is it with these punks? Evertime they see you they gotta rev there engine or pass you at five trillion mph, and do they realize there car DOES have more than first gear. What exactly is cool about drivin' around in first gear?

had a dick on 13th bitch me out for not letting him merge when no one was behind me, he had a minivan and was definitely a dick so I told him that, got his plates if he does something dumb

You should have called the police and report him. All you need is plate number, type and color of car, and the place and time of the event. Police will either track the guy down, or mail him a ticket.

I dont think they would mail him a ticket. they have no proof of the incident. I dont think he would get caught period.

well i had a guy do the same thing almost except when he passed me he tried running me off the road and then through a coffee mug at my car. well i called him in then they got a report from me and they said they were trying to contact him and thats all i ever heard about it.

yeah.. im pretty sure all theyll do is give them a call and ask them about it. if its something serious enough.. they might actually have them appear in court if they dont have anything more important going on. last fall a friend of mine had to go to court because some lady reported him for reckless driving.

If you just call the cops on him there's not much that can be done. You can go in and file a report , then the cops can at least keep an eye out for the guy especially if he's has more than one complaint against him. Unless you have hard evidence like video or something it's just your word against his. The police actually have to see what happened, in whatever form it may be, to actually do something, like give him a ticket. If somebody could get a ticket just by calling them in people would be just makin' up shit to get somebody pulled over or arrested. I know I would, I can be a pretty hateful bastard when pushed to far and I I think my list of people that piss me off is pretty long. I wish it was that easy in a way, there's some pretty shitty and just plain ignorant drivers out there.

everytime i call people in to the police, the dispatcher asks if i want to sign a complaint, to which i usually reply "i want them to get a citation for this. i can recognize the driver and i will appear in court if need be"
i've gotten several people with running through stop signs and red lights. a couple of times, (not sure if they do anything about it) i've called people in for driving a buick or a truck down 25 at 50+ when there's traffic around, and then they stop at 40 or 52 ave and i get a good look at them and their plate. fools
whine all you want about how easy it is to deliver pizza... but i spend an extra 20 or so hours per week avoiding people that are incapable of following traffic signals
