Slow Cars....

I actually think Rob would take ya from a dig with nothing done but an intake, as a matter of fact, I think you 2 should race. And as for Ford "sucking" do we have to bring out 5.0 mustangs, SVT mustangs, etc.. into the picture? I hope not.

Waist? Come on man I understand typo's but seriously. Why exactly isn't my point valid? Fact is your car's strength is from a roll and my car's exact weakness is from a roll. We raced and we saw the outcome, just kind of impressed, whether it be the piss poor performance that creeped out of yours, or the semi decent "rolling" performance out of mine. Heck Jim beat me from a roll, though I would like a rematch since I'm not running pig rich right now.
SVT vs Rx7 - sounds like a race that is extremely lop sided but I think it'd be interesting. What do ya say Scherling? You don't wanna run me, so run the hatchback

P.S should be all in your favor man, so I don't know why you would turn it down. The SVT is completely bone stock, now of course this is all if and only if Rob wants to race. But I got a feeling he'd be more then anxious to give you a run

this thread is a huge pile of gay! we should call it e-racers.com?
personally I think that red rx-7 is hot. if those vehicles weren't so tempermental, I'd own one in a second!

i find this to be kinda interesting. But, honestly, you guys need to know when to stop. Drake and Scherling should settle their "misunderstanding" somewhere else. This is just a waste of space, and im sure jim is not happy about it, since it is his website. I don't really like the kid, but thats a nice RX-7 from the outside. Not sure about the performance side.

Oh really? Well, I'm RWD and do 1.50 60 foots. Dave is RWD and goes in the 1.4s. Jeff Steger's Vette went 1.49. Why don't you ask Arden and/or Brian Harvey what they pull when they lift a front tire? What do your almight AWDs pull for 60s? -

Really? I figured AWD would still take a FWD car, drive line losses or not. High HP FWD cars can still loose traction at speed, say 2nd gear, enough that AWD have the advantage.

To answer Ethans question, the best I have personally done is 1.75 in th 60'.
What I'd really like to know is, why does everyone hate Scherling so bad for? I know the kid has a big mouth, big deal, half the shit that get sprayed on these boards are from people w/ big mouths. Noone seemed to mind that Scherling had a big mouth last saturday night when he allowed a big group of us to hang out in his (dads...but that really doesn't matter) parking lot. I know some of you have legitimate beefs with the guy, but just because he doesn't want to race everyone that revs on him is hardly reason to hate the guy. Also, just because he doesn't want to mod his car to insane horsepower doesn't make him a bad person either.
Ok, now enough of defending Zach.
My only complaint about you Zach is that you do talk shit and try to come off as a bad ass. That's fine if you can back it up. Just mellow out a bit, and you won't get so many haters.
Of course everyone will always do/say what they want anyways so I am probably just wasting bandwidth w/ my whole rant here, but I felt I had to speak up. Sorry if I offended anyone.

bull crap.... my e-car has 8.5 giggawattahorsepower and a turbo and nawwwz.....
fake e-penises don't count either beeyatch......(means mine is still bigga!)
okay, on the AWD/FWD/RWD debate, of course it's all going to hinge on the conditions.... like dave said...when you're pushing 600HP to the wheels awd might come in handy....
250hp RWD car vs an equivalent AWD car....a whole new story...
So yeah, who fucking cares?
I've got RWD, you've got AWD, and he's got FWD....... Run em, see who wins, and quit your bitching....
and like I say, my penis is still bigger...

Don’t worry Chuck i still love ya. I don’t see how i try to come off as a bad ass as you say Chuck. Yeah i know i talk shit but everyone is guilty of it. But i don’t talk shit like yeah his car is slow and i can beat it. Cuz for real i don’t go around sayin i can beat every car out there. I think its more or less i own a 7 and there for "it must be really fast". When infact its not that fast, i mean yes it is faster stock than most other stock cars out there but now most cars out there on Fargo streets are not stock. I will race the Focus but my car is due for a new clutch. I raced this 5.7L S10 for the hell of it cuz i used to work with the guy at NAPA and he wanted to see how they compared. Well i launched it at like 5 grand and it held all the way thru first but then i slammed it in seconded and the clutch just didn’t hold. It was a site that would bring tears to anyone eyes. But i still won by a long shot, it wasn’t worth it but it woulda happened next time i would of launched. Just glad it didn’t happen at the track.
