I've seen a lot of bullshit going on between people on here......and I wish you'd all just ease out a bit. Give it up already, it's a given fact that my penis is bigger....enough bickering

dubbsy did you catch what is in the paper? an 89 T-Bird SC...for 5100 i think it has like 60k or somethin on it...nope, but running for in-forum.com (hmm, this could be just what I was looking for...)

Dubbsy I decided to keep my thunderbird we will have to race some time just for fun.yeah dude, I need something with a cleaner body on it. I'm fighting rust on the 94 Bird already, hence the reason my ears perk up for this 89. Rust showing up from the few years I drove it in the winter. Fortunately I've now got a winter beater, but unfortunately the rust already has set in....and looking at it, it'll be hard to fight.
I might have to make a phone call this week...maybe, just maybe, with that few of miles, it was garage kept.

i wouldnt mind gettin my hands on a Super Coupe...arent they pretty rare to boot? thats low miles either way on a car that supposedly has a lot of potential...Depending what year/option SC you find, they can get pretty rare yes. for example, 95 5spd supercoupes would be the most sought after cars being only 574 made (making them the most rare) Take out all of those that have been wrecked or parted out, and you might have 250 cars left out there...
1990 35th anniversary 5 speed supercoupes are almost as rare in production numbers, but I would say even more rare for availability (and looking at the link listed below, they don't have any manual 35ths listed, but I know they exist in some number).on that 89, it's probably not "rare" per se, but with those few miles, it's got me interested.
BIGGEST thing to worry about on the SCs are headgaskets. The exhaust was overly restrictive (namely manifolds and downtubes) and that seemed to promote headgaskets going bye bye. Headers and a full exhaust will fix that of course.
otherwise, they're pretty good cars. driving hard leaves 1st and 2nd gears useless, so tire wear might be an issue

potential - all depends what you want to spend of course. I've been more into the N/A V8 community side of things, so I can't throw out much for real accurate info on mods... stock my buddy put down 220hp and 280 tq IIRC on a 93 SC 5spd.
I'll sell you my 94 V8
179HP and 244 TQ, 15.26 @ 90.85 and still thrashing.http://www.sccoa.com/faq/prodnums.php

You should have seen him three years ago he was 6"4 140 pounds. Thus the name "Lank" came out of it. Oh and dont rag on him to much ( Not that you were ) but, he has a shop with a cherry picker and about 10,000 bucks worth of tools. Oh yeah I cant forget about the mud race track he has. That is a blast, our last enduro car was a 1992 chevy corsica.
He is putting the green one in the way back seat by his subs. We are hooking it all up tomarrow any sugguestions?
Next I think carbon fiber window tint. Man soon he will have the ricest 1988 Chevy station waggon.

PSI, did you buy that Tbird?
Talked to the guy for a few minutes on the phone thursday night.... said his son's friend was interested, but he'd like for me to take a look at it this weekend. Be damned if by noon Friday I didn't have a message on the cell phone that he car was sold...
back to looking I guess....
Either going to be making some payments on the winter vehicle, looking for a bike, or searching for another rust free Thunderbird/Cougar (got a line on a 95 SC 5spd now, 1 of 574 made
) -
the best station wagon...no doubt about that...are you putting all of the underbody lights inside his car or what?
