srt4s are cool becuase theres alot of shit u can get from mopar that doesnt void the warrenty..
www.mopar.com -
check at the bottom..gives the warranty info

I've done research and mopar has alot of nice parts and people i have talked to say they perform well....and i'm not sure either...but i think it does void the warranty

NO PARTS WARRANTY
Mopar Performance parts are sold "as is" unless otherwise noted. This means that parts sold by Mopar Performance carry no warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties, such as warranties of merchantability, are excluded. (An implied warranty of merchantability means that the part is reasonably fit for the general purpose for which is was sold). The entire risk as to quality and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep
vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition. The addition of performance parts does not by itself void a vehicle's warranty. However, added performance parts (parts not originally supplied on the vehicle from the factory) are not covered by the vehicle's warranty, and any failure that they may cause is also not covered by the vehicle's warranty. -
Thanks for the info raider.

Dont bet him, he wont pay up after he loses like a sally -
Oh yeah thanks for reminding me kirk......doesnt he owe you like $50.00 still?
-
Yep. Well according to him, "who he sold it to would owe me 50 bucks if he doesn't run sub 15.0 with the probe" or some kind of bullshit.

Ok, i think I should chime in.
Mopar offers 3 staged kits for the SRT-4. Stages 2 and 3 will not necessarily void the warranty, but if any problems are caused by them, it won't be covered under warranty. None of the staged kits come with a warranty. All the problems I've had with my car have been covered under my warranty, even though I have Stage 2.
As far as good places to go for parts, it depends on how much you want to spend. If you want the Mopar name, they offer the staged kits, CAI, downpipe, exhaust, front and rear strut tower bars, and 3 staged suspension systems. The downside to this is they are all pretty expensive.
Mopar CAI=AEM CAI
Mopar front and rear STB=DC Sports front and rear STBSome good sites are: www.turboneonstore.com, www.modernperformance.com, and www.agpturbo.com. www. srt4forums.com has a lot of useful information, along with plenty of links to vendors with SRT-4 specific parts.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.

Isn't that the same way any aftermarket parts go with a factory warranty. If it's found to be the problem it will not be warrantied. Sounds like you could run into alot of the same hassles even if you have Mopar parts. I guess it just sounds alot like the Mitsubishi Evo/WRX STi, etc situations. Maybe Dodge is better about it???
