Should I get it or not? With all the shit that needs to be bought for my car it would prolly be the same as some car payments and then some. I really want something a little more reliable.

I dont have problems getting hours at Wal-Mart during the school year and I also work at the school too so I don't think I should be in much of a bind when it comes to paying for it.

I owuldn't say there really anymore reliable. They are already having problems and they are only a few years old. My predictions is they will be exactly like a DSM in a few more years. Joe has already replaced a clutch and is now looking @ rebuilding a trans, sounding like a DSM to me.....

7.9% is pretty steep interest rate as well.

I will keep it close to stock just maybe a turbo-back exhaust and intake. I wont be too hard on the car. Or do the problems happen to both stock and modified EVOs?

mine was pretty much stock when my clutch went... i had turbo back exhaust, and boost controller and you will be hard on the car once you drive it around... anyone who says they wont is full of shit... you love that feeling that you get driving it

I guessing it is a bank loan, if so 7.9% is pretty good, at least in my experience with loans and shit. If you can get some sort of extended warranty jump on that shit. If not just makes sure you test drive it and ask if you can kinda put it through its paces so you get a feel for the car and possibly spot some problems. If you get the loan, get it in cash, If they see you have cash they may even go down on the price a bit, Green always looks better than a check.

Your already own a DSM so technically your not loosing anything by getting one....And I do like the one your looking at. I say go for it!

how much is that sti at gateway? id almost have to agree and say get that instead if youre looking for something more reliable. from what ive heard evos have a helluva lot more problems than stis.
