I've heard nobody mention video cameras. Most motels have video cameras of some sort in the lobby or out front somewhere, mostly for use in robbery situations but if they record the activities there should be tape somewhere for the cops to look at.

In defense of police, my dad was on a police force for more than twenty years here in New Rockford, and he gave everbody there fair shot. If you got a ticket you deserved it. He became a cop because his dad was one also and after also serving twenty years in the military. On the other hand we do have a cop in town here that fits Jims profile to a tee. He was a nerd that was picked on and made fun of in high school, I was one of his few friends, and now he's a cop, I take that back, He's an asshole with a badge. Just last night while most peolpe where celebrating the fourth he was writing tickets. I think in all this last weekend he wrote probably between 20 and 30 tickets and this is town of lees than 2000 people. Even the other cops hate him, he's always kissin' the sheriffs ass who's just as worthless. How many cops do you know that can get 2 DUI's and still have a job.
Back to fargo cops. I've had my run in with them also. And I must say I left those situations in a pretty pissy mood. I was givin a care required by a west fargo cop who didn't even have a good explanation or reason to gove me one, made me lose my license on that one, just 2 weeks but it still sucked, and another time I broke one of my CV shafts and parked infront of the US Bank in downtown fargo, one of friends was lookin at the signs to make sure we weren't parked in a no parking zone and a cop pulled up and very sternly said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" so we explained what happened, needless to say he didn't offer any help at all
not a ride, no offer to call a cab, nothin' he was a serious prick. We eventually got a ride from another friend, but whole situation still sucked cause my car sat down there all night and it apparently rain like bitch that night and flooded downtown because my floor boards had water in them. One bad situation to another all because a cop decided to be prick.
Well, I'd say that's my 2 cents but I think I got a quarter outta this one.

I don't think the situation is racist, that cop was just as asshole. But, since he was an asshole, you can surely make it to be a racist situations:) The only way to get fairness out of the ordeal is to get a big media thing like tjamz is saying, or do what Wes said and get them back. Otherwise just contacting the police is going to get you nowhere, guaranteed. They are all just a bunch of lazy ass pieces of shit. I have never had one time where they actually protected and served me. Good luck Jim.

I do agree with a few people. You need to go back and check video tapes. If they have it on tape bring it to the cops. Get the hicks names and bring them to small claims court. And file a report on the cops or something. That is not right that it happened that way. I'm sorry it did happen that way. I wish you luck with it all. and update us on what is happening.

sorry to read this so late jim if you can remember the officers name and his badge number or just his name i can help you with the police end for sure something will be done to punish him. as for the hicks if you just up date the forum a bunch of us can go roll over their trailer homes i dont think that would take more than 20 people lol

I say no cheap shots at the hicks, if they were staying at the hotel i would call a couple of people that like to beat the shit out of people (make sure you are nowhere around)and take care of it the old fashioned way, thats WAY more fun that doing something to there vehicle thats not worth shit anyway.
