Well lately my rear portion of my car has been making odd noises. Ever since we replaced the rotors and pads it has acted funky. Right after replacing them i drove around and realized something was majorly wrong when my pads were smoking (already posted about it i believe). Anyways...........the only way to fix that problem was to put the old pads back on because the new ones wouldnt seat in the caliper properly without the rotor moving, so it was either have the old pads in and have it work or have the new ones in and have it do something like this (viewing from the top) / | | The outer pad would NOT seat parallel to the rotor and would constantly rub. So now that we have that fixed i have a new problem. After driving for extended periods i hear a noise that gets REALLY annoying, and happens usually when coasting, but stops the moment i tap the brakes even. Then after i let up off the brakes it comes back. Would this possibly be due to warped rotors or what?

Thats the noise, sorry its such bad quality i recorded it on my cell then used the computer mic to re-record it (yes im a faggot so what). Any ideas on how to fix this because i plan on heading to autozone today and getting 2 new rear calipers otherwise.

you put old pads on a new rotors? theres your problem...your pads are shitty....and your rotors dont like it either....

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

dude, you did you best to record it....but there is no way for me to hear it without registering.....a warped rotor will cause a pulsation in the pedal, and sometimes cause the vehicle to jerk heavily if it is bad enough. If you pads were smoking, the caliper might be seizing to were it wont release the pad enough without dragging it. Some of the older hondas with higher miles have been having calipers in the rear seizing/locking up lately. Figure out a way for me to hear it, or if you have time now, I might be able to check it out for you. let me know.

When I first changed my front rotors/pads the pads would smoke a little bit but it went away after an hour or so. And they didn't smoke all the time either.
