I consider a REAL car something along the lines of a 537rwhp turbo'd 95 240sx(picks on BPU+ mkiv supras on the highway, for fun), 750rwhp 300zxtt's, multiple supras, FD's with 20B's. One of my personal fav's is a guy down here (phx) with a 95 240SX and an RB25DET. Also, my freind that has a 91(me thinks) 'yota cressida with a 1jzgtte and a 5 speed conversion..... I've been in rooms with over 6000rwhp collectively and only like 7 cars.
Dave has a REAL car. The guy with the acura has a REAL car, or they both have cars we will consider REAL for this level of bragging. If you wanna get technical, I guess a real car is something with 4 wheels and an engine, but I digress.
the reason I don't build one? simple! I'm broke! too piss poor to build one! lol I ain't afraid to admit it. I am thinking of a turbo on my car(running 11.5:1 compression) running E85 and a standalone EFI system (megasquirt cause its CHEAP!)

That is funny when cars with less power beat them.No, but generally when you go to the extent that these fine folks have with your ride, you have a helluva lot more than just some more ponies under the hood. 540fwhp teggy and a 970rwhp supra? you KNOW they have done more work to their cars than almost eveyone on this board collectively. HP is not everything. this kind of goes back to my decal thread. Someone thinks they are hot shit because they can slap a boost controller on thier car and up the boost or just put a bigger turbo on it.
The RB25DET in the S14 has a bigger FMIC, a boost controller and just bolt ons, its not that high in HP, but its stil one of the nices cars Ive ever seen. This guy is so dedicated to his ride that he keeps his OLD KA around to swap back in every 2 years so he can pass emissions and keep his ride.
USUALLY the people with the faster cars dont come in here and start braggin. You never see Dave start a thread saying "your new highway king is crowned" or the teggy guy (sorry, dont remember names, something to do with beer killing brain cells) making posts like that, you know what Im saying?

p.s. Dave IS a legend, he is nationally known. TONS of ppl in the scene in phx know who he is, lol
