There were negotiations to sell the track, but that was scrapped and the track is going to remain a track "for many years to come" according to the track general manager. Rumors are Lucas Oil purchased the track and plans to keep the nhra races there. BIR is on the schedule for next year so I hope it's true.Yes, you can always get that close in the pits when the racers aren't busy. It rocks. We just got back about a hour ago, it was a blast as always.
Good, Brainard is fun....and it's pretty much all they have, lol. -
It was my first time at BIR seeing Top Fuels etc. It was unbelievable feeling 14k to 16k hp vehicles going down the track.
I also ran into a relative from Tacoma, WA that races stock and super stock full time....small world. I would highly recommend the event to anyone and everyone.

How are those grammar skills treating you?;)

I usually try to talk or write at the same level or lower as the person I'm corresponding with. Obviously I didn't that last time it went over your head. LOL

Oh yeah, put that dude on your bike and watch him run like 8.80s or something hehehe.
Try 8.50s. That's one thing that Ryan is famous for; hopping on someone else's bike and beating their best time in one pass. He's put a 600 supersport bike in the 9.6s, and a 1000 supersport bike in the 8.9s. IMHO, he's the best streetbike racer in the world. One of the racers there, Shawn Gann, has a "streetbike" that goes low 7s.
