AEM air bypass valve???

I just installed an AEM Air Bypass Valve on my AEM CAI. I have it high enough where the water wont get to the outside of it incase the air filter sucks any water in. I was just wondering how effective these are and if it is actually safe to drive in the rain now? Any past experiences and opinions are welcome. Thanks.
