LZ1 camaro

I don't know if any of you guys have seen this car, it's a black 99 Camaro with LZ1 in red letters on the side.

Now, here is my beef. I have never in my 6 years on LS1/LT1/F-body message board/ F-body game have never heard of a LZ1 camaro. I have googled, searched all the message boards, and I still can't find it.

Now, from a friend of mine who has talked to the guy, says he is a really nice guy, which is good. He also said he told them the entire engine is brand new and upgraded from the factory. While if this is true....I find it odd that when I saw him run he ran a 13.6@102 mph....which is about the same, if not slower than your average LS1.

Now. I'm not trying to start anything with the guy, or his friends. I would just like some clarification if anyone knows him or about his car.

that is the closest i can come to lz1, a 2000 camaro zl1 concept car. just a guy who thought he had a lz1 but really its a ls1 or that he had a really rare concept car. and could it just be the faunt or the righting?

I know basically all the "rare" options, codes, specialty F-bodies, and have never heard of a LZ1.

Also, there is NO WAY in hell that car is even close to a ZL1 camaro, which they did make a few 427 ZL1 4th gens.

There is a good example of domestic rice. I've talked to the guy too, nice guy but full of shit. The car is stock except for the LZ1 stickers.

Again...that was ZL-1, and they only made 2 ZL-1 1969 corvettes.

yeha when i first moved ehre i heard there was a guy claiming he had this lz1 car. and i didnt beleive them but at the track 2 months ago i seen it in the spectator lot. and yeah he had red lettering. someone has to know the guy. send him to this site or any camaro site so we get him some facts so he dont sound like a fool anymore
