Buddys car stolen and totaled
-
Thanks man Im sure he will appreciate it
-
The shop did it.
-
No the keys were said to be left in the vehicle.....and the doors were supposed to belocked, r u sayin the shop did it or you think they did it ??
-
I think the shop decided to go for a little fun run and fucked it up. If the car were to be stolen they wouldn't bring it back and it would be in pieces scattered across the country.

And why didn't the shop immediately call your friend to tell him what had happened to his car or did they? Sounds pretty fishy man. Every vehicle that I've ever heard of that's been stolen and joyrided has never actually been returned to the spot it was stolen from. It's usually ditched somewhere else. That's why I think somethings up with the shop dudes.

Thats what I was thinkin but apparently the police looked into it and they could find no proof of anyone from the shop doin it, y the hell didnt they lift the prints from the door handles or steering wheel who knows??????????
-
Ya cuz the only other person with a spare is Cody.......
-
Is your friend covered by insurance for this at least?
-
Not a good situation.
-
he has full coverage on the car but shouldnt the shop be held responsible?
-
Cody came to my house last night with a big ugly truck....I guess its for the winter I guess hes gettin a new car.....he didnt seem to upset
-
If it got stolen while it was IN the shop they should be responsiable but if the car was outside you better have insurance...
my .02
-
His car was outside
-
car left outside...probably not the shops liability....car left outside with KEYS IN IT, might have a damn good argument in court that they are partially responsible for the situation by not taking the minimal security requirements to ensure that the vehicle is not damaged/stolen.
-
I am pretty sure the shop has a post-it note somewhere stuck to the wall with clever legal jargon on it that would keep themselves clean of something like this.
-
that is probably true....I feel bad for him
-
I personally think Cody probably did it so he can get a new car. i could seriously see him doing something like that. And with him not being upset about it at all. And his motor was pretty much f`ed up already so he figured he would finish it off. Especially with it in Barnseville, who else would know where it was at besides CODY himself

is the shop your talking bout in barnesville? cause i was gonna say, one of the mechanics got his truck stolen not to long ago. ive heard various other instances too. barnesville cops dont do a damn thing.
