Cody came to my house last night with a big ugly truck....I guess its for the winter I guess hes gettin a new car.....he didnt seem to upset

If it got stolen while it was IN the shop they should be responsiable but if the car was outside you better have insurance...

car left outside...probably not the shops liability....car left outside with KEYS IN IT, might have a damn good argument in court that they are partially responsible for the situation by not taking the minimal security requirements to ensure that the vehicle is not damaged/stolen.

I personally think Cody probably did it so he can get a new car. i could seriously see him doing something like that. And with him not being upset about it at all. And his motor was pretty much f`ed up already so he figured he would finish it off. Especially with it in Barnseville, who else would know where it was at besides CODY himself

is the shop your talking bout in barnesville? cause i was gonna say, one of the mechanics got his truck stolen not to long ago. ive heard various other instances too. barnesville cops dont do a damn thing.

either way dont expect the police to do anything about. im still bitter about my moms car getting stolen and the police doing absolutely nothing to find who did it.

Shane, have you actually seen his car yet. Where is it now? How do you know he isnt making shit up? I mean i dont have a problem with cody but like you said why not lift prints. Maybe no cops were ever involved and he is making up a big story cuz he took his car for joyride and fd it up so that is no prints were taking or anything along those lines. I talked to jake and he said those people at that shop are all a bunch of old guys. Said they would never joyride a car. He use to go out there alot for parts runs and shit.

I live in barnesville... or well just outside of it.

Ill tell you right now the Barnesville cops are fucking worthless. They are always on the hicks side when something happens with them, and other then that they just drive around and sit at the cop shop all day. Oh and some of them smoke pot on a regular basis.

What shop was it at? Im good friends with a guy that works at Dean's auto and I know Dean the owner pretty good to. I have had my car there and all my previous cars there before. They have never left the key in it or left it unlocked.

Shit like this happens a lot in barnesville, but never ever have I heard of it being brought back to the place it was stolen... even some of the stupidest people in barnesville wouldnt do that.

The cops will never find anything out basically because they dont care to find anything out. I know a couple of the cops pretty good and I know they hate to work. But to me it sounds like your friend did it... fucked it up brought it back and revved the piss out of it until it blew up.
