That sux dude...you should contact ups about how the box was handled...Ive personally never had any problems with ebay but that kinda scares me....
-
It was USPS that handled the package and they didn't handle it very well.
-
oops my bad, I read it wrong?? Can you do anything to make them pay for the damaged items?

I'll check it out on Tues. -
Hopefully it turns out for the best

The subs are kinda ripply how they come. That is shitty about the handling stuff though. I ordered an ebay intake for my 92 1.8 eclipse and my buddys 94 prelude si. The prelude intake never ever ever came and the intake for my car had no where for a MAS. Funny thing is that the intake for my car works on the prelude. That is where it is now and he has had no problems from it

What do you mean by "The subs are kinda ripply how they come?"

I worked at UPS for like 3 days one summer unloading trucks, you would not believe the abuse that EVERYTHING shipped by UPS goes through. Letters type packages all over the floor of the truck stepped on and boxes piled on them. Light little boxes with their 150 pound limit boxes stacked right on top of them. If you want to ship something UPS and make absolutely sure it will end up somewhere in one piece, package your stuff in the box like you are going to drop it off a 50 story building.
Oh yeah, and that sucks dude. For all that extra shipping you paid the dumbass could have packaged that stuff a hell of a lot better and not sent you crap.

I have sent subs before through USPS and all of them have made it in great condition. Though they were built like a brick shithouse.
-
you get insurence on the shipping?
-
I can tell you that just because you pay $40 in shipping charges doesn't mean it cost that much. I sell alot of stuff on ebay and what i do and alot of other ebay sellers do is charge alot for shipping to avoid the ebay fees. So instead of the item being $50 and shipping $10 it would be the other way around and i would save myself the fees ebay would want for me selling my item for $40 more.Heres a good example of an auction i had this guy set up for me since i wanted some protection that i would get my merchandise. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7996055955
Also you can get there contact info from ebay and maybe try giving the girl a call. I always use paypal for transactions so if something goes wrong i can get my money back from them or my cc company. -
Yeah I am gooing to see if I can somehow bend it back so that it isn't rubbing.

i have bought and sold ALOT of stuff on ebay including cars, motorcycles, tons of car parts, and other misc. shit. I once had to wait 4 months to get a dash for my car. Big mistake not to file a claim there. Here are my best suggestions and tips for secure, safe ebay transactions.
- Establish definate contact with buyer/seller before you make a bid/sale.
- Strongly suggest using paypal for buying/selling, preferebly with a CC.
- Paypal and Ebay have a 30 day limit from the end of the auction for when they can step
in. If it nears 20 to 25 days, and you still have not receive your item/payment, file a
claim with paypal regardless of what the buyer/seller promises. This way you keep
yourself out of shit. - For as little as it might cost, use shipping insurance. Will save your ass in the end.
- Check seller/buyer feedback........no matter what!
These are just some basic things to remember and have kept me out of trouble. I had to learn the hard way on a couple of items, but now I know what to look for and when to step in a put my foot down. Good luck to ya.
Negative feedback would be my recomendation to the issue at hand.

I gave her negative feedback and she replied that it was not necessary. I then replied with how it was late and damaged.

Just file a dispute with ebay. I would never pay with a check, since there is very little protection provided. Use paypal with a major credit card, not bank card.
I used PayPal in the past and they got hacked. They got my card # and actually bought something so I don't want to use it again.
