Tintmasters also recently just got in a shipment of japanese "new driver" window stickers. The young addolecent drivers in japan put them on there car to show they are inexperienced or something. I dunno, just what tyler at tintmasters said. they are getting ones in for advanced drivers too, I believe...

The symbol shown here means "young driver" which has to be on all new drivers in Japan who have less than a year of experience. The other "advanced driver" one is actually an "elder driver" which has to be on all drivers 60 years old and older. The way the driving and insurance system works in Japan, so I have heard, is that when you are a noob driver, you are pretty much invincible from accidents involved with others. They feel that if a noob either gets hit or hits another experienced driver, it is the experienced drivers fault because they should have been more careful, more allert, and been able to avoid the accident all together. Another reason for this system is because to be able to drive in Japan, it is expensive as hell. All licensed drivers are manditory to take a drivers ed course, or something similar, that costs in the $5000 US range. Insurance is insanely costly, along with the cost of gas, which the last time I checked is in the $6-8 US range.

i was told by a foreign exhancge student 2 years ago that most kidsin japan that do drive dont have their license. they just pay off the police when they get pulled over. her parents both had never had their license and they all have their daily driven cars, none of which are driven by registered drivers. must be nice to have shady ass cops over there.

            no race car? becuz homeowner...

This is correct. It is basically a 'warning, or pay close attention'.... We discovered it while looking through some instructions we got for a JDM piece. Obviously all of the words/symbols were in Japanese....
