went and watched these guys play last night at kevin/brians apartment....not at all my type of game, its over too quick and the people that are really good (Jim/Joel) rock the newbies too easily. Same reason I hate most FPS/Strategy games. Unless you have more experience, you usually get rocked by the better players which causes me to burn out in about 2 days. MMORPG's only for me, thank you.

I'd have to dust off my game a little. But I could give them a run for their money

2 on 5 and you guyz still won? Lol, ok so maybe I wouldn't give you a run for your money. Unless they really sucked ass, lol.

alright so lets talk strategy a little bit... I just started playing the game. I've played games similar before like Starcraft, and used to be pretty good at that, however, when I play Warcraft, even against the computer I get schooled. I haven't played much, but I'm curious as to what works. Why is it that you can only have a limit of like 70 food or whatever it is that you need to create units. that runs out in a hurry. come on guys, help a brotha out.

Do you play on battlenet? If so, let me know, we can play a game together and I can show you a couple of tricks.
-
blake, if you can create a game on lancraft, i will connect with you and teach you some stuff. Or just come over to brians one night, or we can meet somewhere...
Some helpful hints/facts i can think of right now...
-The main difference between warcraft 2 and 3 is the Hero character. Every race can make an alter in which you can summon a hero. UNlike other units, as you fight they level up. Each level they gain an ability. @lvl 6, they gain the ultimate ability(or special ability, w/e) which pretty much kicks ass. You can level up your hero 2 ways. Fighting against your enemiy/enemies, or you can creep the wild units on the map(can see it on the mini map in the bottom left hand corner, marked by orange red and green dots)red are the hardest, orange-medium, green-easiest.make more burrows, zigurats, moonwells or farms(depending on race) to recieve higher food levels. in WC3 ROC food max is 90, and in WC3 tft expansion max is 100.
the way to win is to get your build orders down to a science, and be experienced with one race, so you can practice your stratedgy over and over.
