I have a chance to buy a 1995 Acura Integra GSR. Should I? Does anyone know of any common problems they have. (i.e. like DSM's with maintenence) Just dont want to buy a car I am going to have to maintain with 3g a year. The car is for 3000. It has 109K miles ( claims they are highway miles from Devils lake and back to Fargo) dark green. 4dr. 5spd. 35MPG!!!

35% tint all the way around.
skunk2 intake manifold
k&n drop in filter
b&m fuel pressure regulator
msd procap, accel pro coil
4-1 header 3 inch full exhaust
recently done: new brakes in the rear(calipers,pads,rotors)
new pads in the front
new tires bout 3000 miles on them (potenzas R92's)
new belts,

Small mods but I just wanted to know if it is worth it or not. Dont know much about GSR's. Any info would help. Maybe someone has experience with one. Are they fast?

Just remember that any car with performance parts will have been beat on some. No matter what they say, it will have been driven hard. How hard is the question.

Yeah I realize that. Kind of afraid that might be the thing with this car. But I have never even seen a pic of it. So I cant judge it.

Looks to be a good deal. Be sure to check it out in person though before you buy. Somethings might show up that they didn't tell you about (hidden rust spots, paint bubbling, etc...)

Yeah. He lives in Fargo. And in Devils lake. he is coming here on the 20th. I am going to check it out and test drive it and shyt. So yeah.

4dr gsr is like buying an honda that isnt a stick. waste of money in my opinion

The big problem is the lack of torque but you can get past that. IMO don't get a four door.

if you maybe want to wait a few months i plan on selling my 2 dour 94 gsr, it has roughly the same mods. pretty good condition. but you may not want to wait that long for my car.

I personally love 4 door cars, it sounds like a really good deal to me

it all depends on what you want to do with it. if you want to build it up for drag racing, id say no. look for a 2 door. if you want something for auto-x, ask around and see how well they perform. if you want something more practical to haul stuff/people around, id say go for it. figure out what you want first, then find a car that suits that.
