        hey chris if you broke the timing belt you wanna just buy a head? or you should just rebuild your head for like $100...look at what happened to erics dsm...i told him it was the head(bent valve) and what do you know it was...burgess got a good deal on that car...but eric ended up ok cause his parents didnt want him to have a dsm anymore

        At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

          See that is the thing that worries me. My mom wants me to just get rid of it because it does give a lot of headaches but I do have a reliable back-up car now. How the hell would you fix the head for a $100? Now that I have the back-up car I think I will just get the head done right with some P&P and some oversized valves maybe some new cams too.;)

            You pull the head and take it to the machine shop, and they pressure test it and replace the bent valves. It usually ends up pretty cheap. You might want to have it resurfaced right away while it's there, IF you do it. If not can I have the engine? Also if you're interested in a ported 1G head, I have one, PM me if you're interested.
