If any of you people hang out there thats my car. Bought It a year ago.

So anyway I need help. I want to drive it before it snows. I been checking on caleb once a week. Its not getting done and I paid him for it.

I dont know what to do. Cars come off the street and caleb works on those instead of mine.

So if someone here could help put some parts back on it might get done. Because caleb doesnt seem interested in doing it.

Sorry to hear about that, but yeah...caleb does like to take his time. Seems like the bigger the project, the less he works on it. I assume yours is the red one, you're right, it has been there a LONG time. Piece of advice for future reference. Never pay him for work in advance, bring your own parts, and show up at the shop every other day until he starts working on it. Dartcivic had his car there a long ass time too, as has TRE. Both will tell you he does good work, but is incredibly slow.

i love those "pay before the works done" deals, never gets done and they always want more money to finish it

heres what u do figure out the time he has into into it, ask for the remainder that u have paid back and take it some place else

if that doesnt work just flat out call the police

Whats left that needs to be finished? I could take it on end of next week if your interested, assuming DSM break down season comes to an end. We got DSM break down season this week and from the looks of it it's Honda break down season next week....

Caleb does awsome work! and you cant beat his prices! I took other cars there and hes quick about those. Small stuff like removing radios etc.

Every thing you say is true. 😄 I guess I gotta keep on him!

I had a dsm once. 🙂 Got smart and now I got the supra!

Caleb says the head is leaking antifreeze. Caleb also said he put on a new head gasket.

I dont know what todo. I would say go there and take a look at it. All the parts are in the corner. I got a car dolly if I need to tow it to your shop for work.

So the basic problem is overheating? You also say its leaking coolant as well?

Caleb replace the Head Gasket. He said its overheating and the head is leaking. He was going to replace the thermostat. But I think he gave up on the car.

Hmm, sounds like possible cracked head. NAPA has a block tester that works good for checking to see if you are getting combustion gasses in the coolant.

could be a warped head as well. did he have it planed? I am assuming he did, but sometimes details like this slip by....

Thats good to know! I should do that aslong as caleb has it apart.

He called me up. He said he sent the head in to get milled? Hope that sounds right.
