I've never used Yahoo music. What's the term "DRM" anyway?

Digital Rights Management = Anti-Piracy stuff

In Limewire, when you search for a song you should look to the right, it will tell you the bitrate of the songs before you download them...

Nearly all of the songs that I donwload off of limewire are 192kbps... which is more then ok in my opinion.

If your looking for alot of albums that are like 256kbps or higher I would suggest that you try to find a large group of FTP servers or try something like direct connect becuase that is where you will find high quality rips of cds and stuff....

Ya, I try to get 256-320kbps. I got Limewire to work again and I know that you can chose the bitrate to the right of the file. There just isn't near the choices on limewire. I still use it, just prefer WinMx over it for music. I need some tutoring on how bittorrent works too. I'll need your expertise in that matter.

Bitrate is the quality of the media file. In this case, music. The higher the bitrate, the higher the quality. I'm picky because I like to listen to music loud on occasion znd can hear the difference in quality

I used to have Limwire, but it was really slow, so I switched to Limewire Pro, and it is so much faster. Have never tried WinMX before.

I use limewire pro as well, MUCH faster than regular limewire. If you want to go pro you can download it from Limewire/Winmx/whatever for free (kinda ironic, isn't it?)

Cableone is very bad about sharing music/movies over their network.

I would never used cable one. Sharing movies is what got me into trouble. Specially movies that are acouple of days old. "ones that have hit dvd or tape" If your going to download movies. Take them off you shared files. Also get a firewall.

Sams club has a good deal on external hard drives.

no, you just have to keep it away from your filesharing. they cannot prove that your file is illegal, they can just prove that you are making a legitimate file available for download.

Shareaza Bitches. Just unshared files except while it's being downloaded. Great for downloading torrent files from other torrent sites.
