Don't get me wrong, I'm all about ACT. But personally for my budget build I'm running a clutch from LSDmotorsports

just keep in mind that you usually get what you pay for, so you may want to keep shopping around before jumping on the best deal you find.
better yet, are you keeping the same d-series engine, or will you be upgrading? if upgrading, perhaps you should wait to see what you can get with the "new" engine

hey, i got a cheap stage 3...its a clutch specialties 6 buck unsprung...new they are $250 shipped and are rated for 285ft. lbs of torque...i love mine in the del sol...makes that 100hp motor able to chirp em goin 40mph...and, it doesnt engage very harshly and the pedal feel is stock...the only difference is that the car may bounce a bit at the get go and you can hear the clutch chatter...thats all...and for 250 bux, ya cant complain...

                          HOLY FUCK PEOPLE.

                          1. Harwood needs nothing more than Exedy organic. Stage 1 clutch. They are CHEAP, I've used them in EVERYTHING and they work fucking fantastic.
Had them on almost 200 whp all motor cars, 200 whp nitrous cars, 250+ whp turbo cars.

                          2. IF YOU CHIRP THE TIRES GOING INTO A GEAR IT MEANS YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH HORSEPOWER TO SPIN THE TIRES OR KEEP THEM ROTATING AT THE SAME SPEED THEY WERE. GAY.

                          3. Exedy makes AMAZING clutches, and once again, they are CHEAP and work VERY WELL. No ACT, nothing. Save your money and buy an Exedy.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

NOT...im just saying that the clutch grips hard, thats all...there's no need to slam me about it man...remember, we are talking about cost effectiveness...i think the exedy stage 1 is 280+ tax last time i checked...???...mine was a little bit less than that and im extremely happy with it...sorry for voicing my opinion about the matter, but i thought thats what this is all about

Why would you want a ceramic clutch on a car that doesn't make any power? Organic is going to last longer and be easier to drive.

I like my ACT clutch alot i heard that if you wash the pressure plate with soap and water it keeps it clean so thiers no clutch chatter. Anyway if you have everything out and apart it would be a good time to upgrade. Also i've heard of people that have had problems with an organic clutch, just a thought.
