What do YOU consider a ricer?

Ok. Some of you may or may not know but I just bought a 1994 Mazda 626 LX V6 DOHC 24v. Not much but it was getting to the point where I just wanted a car. I hear alot of people being accused of being a "ricer". I dont want to be considered a ricer but I dont know what you all consider a ricer? I still want to do my own thing with my car but need a little advice on what to do and what not to do. What does everyone consider a ricer to have on his car? How does a ricer drive? What is a ricer? LMK bcuz I have no idea.

you probably cant win on this site if you do anything to your car....youll be called a ricer no matter what you do by at least one person.

i know but i dont want to be called a ricer by everyone. What kind of "mods" should I stay away from? Fartcans....big wings....altezza's.......etc..

It's your car. Do what you want to do with it. You don't have to please everyone else.

Common ricer mods:

Gigantic Wing
Altezza Tails (unless of course you own and Altezza/IS 300)
Unpainted Body Kit
Poorly Fitting Body Kit
Fartcan Exhaust especially when thats the only "Performance" mod on your car
Neons...especially if you can see the damn tubes, you should only see the glow.
Decals (I'm guilty, but I don't care)
Lambo Doors
Spinners
Some will say sound system (I disagree...unless its ghetto)
Anything that looks like it was on pimp my ride
Gigantic wings (worth mentioning twice)

no matter what you do, someone on this site will be hating on you. but just make your car your own. I think that if you can back up any mod with "because I like it" no one should be able to complain about it, but if you back it up with "cause it's pimp" you might run into some problems. but yeah NO WINGS!!!

it was said earlier.. edit and right before this..its an attitude. you drive an mx6 (not saying thats bad)so you have to remember that everytime you wake up in the morning. its not a 4 second rail car and its not an ezo so dont drive and act like its one.

A true ricer just drove by my apartment....it was that fast and the furious looking jetta...only it had his big papa johns sign on the top....

my favorite is when people put the name of thier car's name on thier windshield... i still havn't figured that one out, The best one i saw was an early 90's "CUTLASS" , across the top.
