    okay, heres whats up

i have an airbagit.com F.B.S.S. Fast kit for my EG civic, well all the wheels work great, but when it comes to the rear passenger wheel, the cylinder will not go all the way down... and i know its not the cylinder itself which i though it was, because switched it to the other side, and now that side goes down perfect, but this side is still hanging up

nothing is restricting it from going down, and airbagit doesnt know why, but is it some sort of mounting problem? or what, i dont get it at all, it goes up great, but when it comes back down, it stops pretty much at the same spot about 3-4 inches from the bottom

i also thought maybe the belly of the car was making it not go down cause it was on the ground, but even if i raise the front, and try to let the air out of it, it still doesnt go down...

weight isnt the factor because even if i push on the back of the car, and let the air down, it still doesnt go down....

my brain is fried, does anyone know whats going on, or anyone have this problem before!?

did it ever go down all the way??? sounds like a mounting problem if all the air is out of it...

i could take a look at in person and probably be able to tell you a little more.

yes, it has gone down all the way, when i had the strut off and not hooked up to air, i could compress it all the way down, but when i hooked it back up to the car (still not hooked to air) it still hung up... i mean, how could it be a mounting problem? where are you located? but i know its not the strut cause like i said, first i started out with strut "A" on the driver and strut "b" on the passenger... strut b wouldnt go down, so i put strut A on the pass. side, and B on the driver, now, strut A that had been able to go down all the way on the drive side, now hangs up like strut B used to do, and now strut B is able to go down all the way on the driver

If you have had the shock off and it compressed, you either have a valving problem (at the bleeder, usually a piece of thread tape blocking the bleed off valve) or a "binding" when compressed on the car. I would take all the air lines off of the channel and inspect, blow through all fittings and hoses, etc. If you remove air at that corner (directly at shock) it should move freely as the others. If it does not it is a problem with the strut or a binding/ mounting issue. If it moves freely, check for air line blockage (I had this happen on an SRT-10)
              good luck

it more than likely has to be a binding issue, but i dont get how it would bind? what should i do? maybe oblong the top mounting holes so i can move the top of the strut and try that?

Don't guess, diagnose! I am not familiar with that system specifically, but I am assuming it is similar to all others- Take the air line off @ the strut where the problem is and then lower the car. See if the strut goes all the way up. If not, the strut is binding somewhere. If it does, remove your air lines to wherever your bleed valve is and blow them out, clean them, check for pinched lines, something. Air ride is pretty simple stuff- just don't try to make it too difficult

i dont know much about this whole air suspension stuff, but say that the problem isnt in the strut itself, say it is actuall in the car. maybe something else is binding up. take the strut off completely, put the rear of the car on jackstands, than put a jack under the right rear tire and jack it up to see if the suspension itself will actuall go up all the way..... like i said i have no idea about air suspension but this could work
