Downtown Scale

I dont know how many people really go here or know about it. It is the scale that is right off tenth behind the beverage place. Heading down tenth you turn right at The Northern and go down and turn right before the beverage place and the scale is on the back side. Well i was going to go weigh my civic for shits and giggles cuz i gutted the back half to run some wiring and shit so i wanted to see what it weighed like that to see what kind of difference there is for race day and shit next summer. By the way it is getting put back together now that the wiring is ran in the car.

Well there was a car behind me so i didnt turn and turned after the beverage company instead and drove by. I looked over there and there was a COP sitting right after the scale where you cant see him. So therefore when you weigh then go to drive off the cop busts you. Just figure i would let you guys know so you can check for cops before using the scale or whatever. Just drive around the block and nothing there then good to go.

Figured i would tell you so no one gets tresspassing fines or whatever they will give you for using it since it technically is private property.

I didnt get in trouble cuz after i saw the cop i just drove away went down broadway then back to west fargo so it didnt look like i was going to use it. This was between 10 and 1045 every other time i have been there with my car or buddy is has been past 1 for sure so maybe it is better to go that late IDK

i've never had a problem, and if they said something i have an old boss that has a storage place there and i could use that as my excuse for being there.

so this scale has a digital readout? Do u jsut drive up on it and it has a readout someplace? I never knew it was there

It shows the weight in realtime in increments of 20 pounds. Thanks for the heads up. I was planning to go there a couple of nights ago, but I changed my plans.

Ya you drive up on the scale slowly to the end and stop before getting off it and up on the building at semi driver height(lol) is the weight monitor thingy.

we checked the wieght on that hatch it was 2240 with me and jake in the car and 3/4 tank of gas

Ya i found that out. With me and my buddy cody with the loud 2g talon in it with full interior i think it was right about the same maybe 20 or so less. only had half tank i think. But this time i was alone with 1/4 tank and no interior from front seats back except the top panels and headliner

we have a digital readout scale in my hometown...only 1000 people in the town so no ones gives a shit if you drive of it...

maxima weighed 3400...with 2 people, and all the stereo shit in it..ect..

I've been there a few times, and have never seen a cop there.

At the most, they would just tell you to get lost and not come back.

Well i know this stuff i was just saying i saw one there around 10 that night and if you didnt want to risk it i pre warned you trying to be nice around here.
