How about a WRX w/ a rotated mounted GT30R/GT35R? You know you want to do this Nick, you always say there are no really fast WRX's at the tracks....lets make one!
Yup, that's the turbo i am looking at too

And by that, you mean not as cheap as picking one up, technically a topmount works, but you know, if i can stay a little local, if figure why not.

The problem with me not wanting to upgrade is I don't want to do all new IC piping, custom up/downpipes, new CAI, etc... Its not a matter of just buying a $1000 turbo, its buying all the supporting mods over again, especially when the the elapsed times between some of the larger "Custom" applications and the bolt on "Baby Turbos" is almost non-existant, not to mention the "Baby Turbos" are more streetable than the custom apps. Unlike most of you guys, I don't plan on primarily drag racing my car, I plan to drive it 9 months per year, every day....without major problems. I want to keep the low end power at a usable level. I want to be able to autocross if I desire. However, if the price was right, I'd consider going bigger turbo. In hindsight, I should retract my statement above as I don't think I'd like my car as much if I had more lag than I currently do.

heh, I kinda did. Perhaps if I decide to go larger displacement, I'll be able to justify larger turbine....at least in my mind.

You won't race it anyways, so we would never know if it was fast 😛

geez...a guy makes just 6 runs one year and you catch all sorts of grief, nevermind the year before I made about 60 passes

Precisly the reason wht i want the GT30r also, it will still give me enough power to run all the autox, yet still enough power up top
I may stop by on friday-ish Nick, have you look at it, no need to start yet of course, it's a long winter.
