Ah shit happens right?? The one he is talking about is new style to. Aj has the older stlye. not sure what the years are of the body sytles.

Last i knew he has his civic, GTP, and his truck. On crappy days he drives the GTP to work(advance). you can drive by and see it there. So unless he sold it in the last about 4 days I believe he still has it.
Thanks for helping with the gen(years)

didnt he sell that to buy the white civic...and plus his is a 1st gen(88-96 but more specifically 94-96) the 2nd gens are 97-03 and the 3rd gens are 04+so what is your preference on gen?
since you seem to know so much about them.
this could come in handy when i finally get my GP.Monty

in all honesty...i would love to have a combination of the 1st and 2nd gens....i wish my 1st gen had more power. It may be weird to some people but the look of my 94 has really grown on me. I like the front end of the 97+ better but the rest of the car is just ok....i would love my 94 better if it had a little bit more than a 3100(that is easily fixed however)...the only real advantage to the 2nd gens is the fact you can upgrade the suspension quite a lot which is really unfortunate for the 1st gens...I would love my car with adjustable coilovers lowered...but since thats not possible the 2nd gens kinda win there too...so in looks i like the 1st gens(94-96 specifically) interior too except for those stupid climate control knobs...i love the feel of the car...Im not really sold on the interior or the complete looks of the 2nd gen or the interior for that matter(i know a lot is the same but something doesnt seem nice about it)...the technical aspect is where they shine...if you are looking for upgrading the car this is the one to have...3rd gens are just nasty IMO and plus they only come in 4drs and id rather have a supercharged bonneville...if thats not what your looking for let me know...

that is a start.
i drive a 90 cutlass with the 3.1
one of the problems with the w-bodies is the first gen and lack of support for mods. yes you can drop the 3800 in it or take a chance with the 3.4DOHC. not that the DOHC is a bad motor it is just not user friendly to work on. but you can do the manual trans if you do not plan to hotrod too much. which is not an option for the later w-bodies.
i would like to stick with a cutlass, but that just is not what is going to happen. unless of course things change. but something about the first gen cutlass that just is weak.
i really want a 97-03 GP. would of course prefer the gtp, but a gt would work. not sure if i could deal with the SE.
i have also considered the regal GS as it is not as common and it has a style all its own when compared to the GP and cutlass.
it is hard to say what i would do when it came down to it.what would i do with the car?
daily, drag and of course would have to give autocross a go. at least once.
mainly reliable daily with some style of my own.
black oh so black would be my choice, but that could change.Monty
