Ok, so im on my way to pick up a z6 dizzy for my non-functional Del Sol, when i was stoped at a stop light this car full of Bonzians rearended me AND the person in the lane to the right of me. So we do the usual, call the cops and such. When this happen, there were like 6 people that saw the whole thing. (one being a drivers Ed. teacher and the manager of Dons Carwash lol) And well, the first thing that pisses me off, besides the whole getting hit thing, is that when the cop is asking me questions, seeing that i drive an import, he tries to blame the whole thing on me. :mad: But there were 6 people that saw it so they all backed me up. And the other thing that pisses me off is that the car full of boznians SAID they have insurance, but have no proff....WOW. My Car isnt TO bad, the rear pass. quater pannel and bumper are going to have to be replace, and del sol quarter pannels are $$$$. All this happend to my mom's Del Sol Vtec too...the b16 one
Hopefully everything will work out...i hope.But anyways, how is it that people that dont have insurance are allowed to drive, freakin sucks for the people they hit, LIKE ME!

I agree with Jason, I got hit by someone with no insurance and my car was already messe dup before the accident, so I didnt try to get it covered, but the dude hit me and ran. I was told a couple days later that he didn't have insurance and that he would be getting a 250 dollar ticket... I pointed out that even if he gets in an accident every 3 months, it's still cheaper than having insurance. the cop got pissed and left. I was also almost positive that he was drunk. being it was saturday night during and he followed us all the way back from the lakes.
I just think I'll probably drive a shitty car for a long time.
The only way to make it with idiot foreigners driving that don't understand the seriousness of not having insurance, and then getting away with it. I work hard to pay for my car insurance, to have someone hit me, and then have to pay for it out of my pocket for a decuctable, or not have my car covered at all, because my insurance company isn't covering it.
No insurance on a vehicle should be punishable by jail-time and or a huge fine, not $250... -

not in ND (or at least not 12 years ago) one of my friends wiped out on his motorcycle and the cops came and sited him for no insurance. He had to pay a fine but I know he didn't appear in front of a judge.
