I agree with Jason, I got hit by someone with no insurance and my car was already messe dup before the accident, so I didnt try to get it covered, but the dude hit me and ran. I was told a couple days later that he didn't have insurance and that he would be getting a 250 dollar ticket... I pointed out that even if he gets in an accident every 3 months, it's still cheaper than having insurance. the cop got pissed and left. I was also almost positive that he was drunk. being it was saturday night during and he followed us all the way back from the lakes.
I just think I'll probably drive a shitty car for a long time.
The only way to make it with idiot foreigners driving that don't understand the seriousness of not having insurance, and then getting away with it. I work hard to pay for my car insurance, to have someone hit me, and then have to pay for it out of my pocket for a decuctable, or not have my car covered at all, because my insurance company isn't covering it.
No insurance on a vehicle should be punishable by jail-time and or a huge fine, not $250... -

not in ND (or at least not 12 years ago) one of my friends wiped out on his motorcycle and the cops came and sited him for no insurance. He had to pay a fine but I know he didn't appear in front of a judge.

I'd sue, My buddy had 3 cars totalled by a young kid that was drunk. all 3 were parked. The kid came each month with a check and each month he apologized until the damages were paid, it took like 3 years for the full payment, but it was worth it.

tell the free food places. They'll hold back once the people are Identified, the same with people with money taking x-mas toys from the poor kids. "They are just giving them away anyways." Yeah, to poor kids, not to mom and dad driving beamers and living in a 250k house. (this applies to all races)
