Where to off road

Any good places to off road around Fargo legally? I dont need anything to treacherous as I have a stock Toyota Tacoma. Just looking for someplace to go mess around. I would stick more $ into some offroad parts but that damn rotary in my 7 is such a $ pig. So anyway if anyone knows a good place to go mess around off road leagally give me a shout. Even some new minimum maintence roads would be fun to go drive on.

theres a few good places around count rt.20 and harwood,mostly gravel roads and ditches though, if you intrested?

Ya that sounds good, I am originally from Fergus so I really dont know where people go around here. There was a gravel pit and some minumum maintenance roads we used to go on around there. Like I said the Tacoma is still stock so nothing to drastic yet. Anyway it would be fun to get some people with trucks to go off roading. It sux going alone incase you get in over your head. Its always nice to have another vehicle to pull the other out or at least get ya back to town to find a vehicle that can pull ya out

yea me and a few buddys used to hit up the ditches in harwood during the summer when it rained and we had like 2-3 trucks cuz one of us would always get stuck in the mud but im from arizona lived up in the fargo-moorhead area for about 4 an half years.Its kinda hard to find shit to do around here,specially when your use to a "BIG CITY". ya know?

Ya I here ya, I grew up in Fergus Falls small town. However I lived at Camp Pendleton CA for about 2 1/2 yrs and that was between San Diego and L.A. So when I moved back here it was kinda a culture shock all over again. I totally here ya on the getting stuck I have found out the hard way a couple times about off roading with 1 truck. I really try not to do that anymore. I really wanna do some mods to the Tacoma but that means putting the RX on the back burner. Well maybe the RX will have to go a yr or so with no new mods so I can work on the Tacoma. I mean the stock Tacoma should still go through quite a bit just not the soup holes or the ditches when they start filling up with snow. I had a Jimmy with some Thornbirds on it and that could really go through some soup. However those tires and rims were pretty heavy and they messed up a lot of my front end parts.
So what are you running for a truck?

If your really intrested in doing some mods,go check out HUTTON AUTOMOTIVE she also owned a TACOMA she is an "expert" on "yotas".Ive passed through Camp Pendleton a few times i used to go to san diego ALOT and LA, I LOVE CALI!! Actually i dont have a truck, i own a 91' mercury cougar but if i were to own one i would like a HONDA RIDGELINE for my first pick or a TOYOTA TUNDRA the TRD package.I used to go with my buddys they owned a Z71 AND A FULL SIZE BLAZER THE 80'S STYLE.But hanging out with them they showed a few good places to OFFROAD.

OK my family is huge in the off-road stuff. If you want to be legal I will tell the closest place to go to around Fargo will be down to Detroit Lakes. Either go to TruckSmith in Moorhead by the Walmart area or Call these guys http://www.truehi9.com/contact.html The owner of this place has some kick a$$ land in DL. Him and my dad and some other people have been building some kick a$$ trails down there. Everything from mild to wild. So if you want to have some fun and know you wont get in trouble go there. HAVE FUN Maybe i will see you out there sometime.

Itrfan- Ya Cali is the bomb, we used to offroad right on base. It was a blast. Somedays I wonder WTF I was thinking leaving. Stationed between San Diegi and LA. Why did I ever wanna come back to this gay ass state LOL. If only I had a crystal ball and could see into the future and how lame shit would be today. Well thanks for all the advice guys.

Sometimes me and a friend head out to the desert down south of Bismarck. Ive only been down there once, it was a pretty good time but I think it would be even better after they get a good amount of snow/rain. If you want I can let you know the next time we go down.
