hook up for comp scan??

i get 10.5 with my jeep in the winter, the 240 is unknown, any one do what i'll get is a 92 hatch CX with the d15b8

yeah my camaro gets @15-18 mpg. i thought i was gonna save money driving this ***.
if the o2's are cheap ill just replace em and see if anything changes

i've got 2 but seriosly doubt having obd connectors and i DO remember them stating it needs of sensors

o2's are about 75 bucks a piece probably...

and you dont see any check engine lights because heath broke the bulb for it...lol

bring it to autozone on uni...they will hook it up for free

Ive changed the oil on brians car once already...then again I know how to properly care for it...

I've got access to a NGS (Ford's scanner) I can take a look at it next week and see if the 02's are working properly. I can also check some other things that might cause bad gas mileage.

I probably wouldn't be able to look at until Thursday or Friday.

well if they were bad before heath sold it to you then im sure they are still bad unless you replaced em...

Brian, take it over to Autozone, Advanced Auto, etc.. Take your pic. They can all hook up a scanner and read the codes and check if anything is out of whack.

Don't know what year his SHO is but they will only scan OBD2 cars (96 & up).

You can scan OBD1 cars, there is a diagnostic port. I know I tried on my mustang over at advanced auto.

I know there is a DLC on OBDI cars, I just don't think autozone will scan them.

if your CEL bulb wasn't dead you could do it yourself with a piece of wire too.....but that's obvioiusly out.
