Just an idea.....

I was just curious if anyone was intrested in starting a thread in the CHIT CHAT area, about something a little different? I would like to start a thread going over music, movies etc...I really like to take in other people views on the different types of music/albums that have been recently released.Such as going over the different artist,it doesnt matter what type of music or artist.Me im intrested in mostly "hip-hop".lil country,dance,etc...I just figured it would be neat to start something like that,if not thats fine.I was just shooting an idea out there, that i've had in my head since i became a member on FARGOSTREET,if no one is down then you can delete this thread. But if its something that sounds like someting people are intrested in..then i guess we can start on this thread and keep it going?Let me get some opinons on this.Thank You for your time.

we've done it before...you shoulda just started it rather than starting this thread lol
Im sorry, like i said im new to fargostreet and since ive been "posting" on here, i havent seen a thread like what i was thinking about, and i was afraid to start a thread and be "patronized" for starting a "stupid or useless thread" so i wanted to get a few opinions, and now that i know you guyz have done it before, well now maybe i can start a thread.Sorry for any inconvinence  -
Ok so thanks to PSiedTSi,Im gonna start an opinon like i stated above.
How does everyone fell about the "rap game"? ie:south,west,east,mid-west?
Im really not into everyone in the south, except a delicate few, like CHAMILLIONAIRE(#1 in my opinion he's gotta be Da best),LIL' FLIP,SCARFACE,THREE 6,LUDA.Im not into MIKE JONES,NELLY,J-QWON etc. I fell that any "artist" that repeats his name a trillion times is pathetic.NELLY he uses the same beats and totally killed "the game" when he did a duo with TIM McGRAW,not saying i dont like TIM but that just doesnt go real well in the "hip-hop"scene.I really am into the "WESTCOAST" hip hop,i think thats where the origanality came into play...I dont think anyone can "spit" it better than ,2PAC,WESTSIDE CONNECTION,DRE,SNOOP,etc...well enough with what i think let me get some of your thoughts....
If you have'nt heard of CHAMILLIONARE here is a lil taste...

I would have to disagree and agree on some of the artist you have on your "playlists" but thats my opinion,i really enjoy THE GAME.It's about time that a new artist has came out from the westcoast.Im a fan of t-pain,usher,chris brown, juelez santana, young jeezy, mario. They have some pretty hot shit out right now.I would just prefer alot of "old skool" then the new though -

static x is on right now for me, I'm a lot of hard rock with some hillbilly comedy crap mixed in. I'm definitely not a rap fan, it's kinda like country, you can only get shot so many times over drugs and then reminisc about it. with country ya lose your dog, wife, horse pickup, farm man-hood, and then you get it back if you play the song backwards. Everything but the manhood anyways.

Yea thats cool,im not to much into HARD ROCK,i will have to say i like KORN though they kisck ass, also SLIPKNOT! But i listen to that when im pissed or playing pool
I will agree on the country opinion, but RAP isnt only about "ice,rims,drugs"etc...Most of the "GOOD"artist are POETS but i do get your point on the whole "ice, drugs and rim" thing. -

my favorite artists from the south are three 6 mafia, chrome (signed to three 6 mafias label), ludacris, TI, lil flip, some lil jon, paul wall is alright...i cant stand chamillionaire though for some reason.west coast hip hop is pretty good..2pac is of course one of the best. snoops only good cd was his first one, dre's are real good but he only has a cd like every 7 years. i like some of xzibits stuff. i like the game... new/underground rappers like crooked i and ras kass sound good too.
i really like the unknown prophets too, a group from minneapolis. they have alot of the same fans as atmosphere but i think they're better
best rapper of all time though....eminem
