When you need a clean'd up you know who to call.!!!Whats the plans with it?I guess at this point I dunno.....there is nothing on the market yet for it, so it is gonna be a little bit of a waiting game... I was planning 2 put a direct port kit on the RSX with a few other toys, but I dunno what I am gonna do with this.... with the lsd stock, it may be worthwhile to look into boost, but like I said, I will have to see what come about in the industry....
And yes I know who to call for the cleaning

I was hoping so
Great pick up Jason...such a hot car! I'm jealous!!! -
I'll get pics up when things here slow down a bit....been crazy the past few days with autostart stuff....
First impression is reassuring that trading the rsx WAS a good idea. This thing rides a lot smoother, handles equally if not better, and the interior although different, is awesome.... Seats are 300% more comfortable, and it feels strong. I haven't taken it above 3500rpm yet, just to ensure a decent breakin, but I am confident that it will be just like all the R&D reports have said: quick, fun, and comfortable. I am very happy with the choice and anyone looking to get one, I would give it 5 stars..... Anything changes I will make sure to gripe here and let you know.

Jason, congrats on the purchase.
The only gripe that I have about the Civic SI's is a personal one, I think the egg shape makes them a little less sportier looking then the RSX...
However, that personal prefence aside, I'm sure that its quick, fun and hell reliable its a honda!

Beat the shit out of it! I saw dyno sheets off of early release Si's with sub 10 miles on them making as much WHP as advertised flywheel HP from the factory.
Honda motors are assembled well enough theres no need for breakin.

First new car, so although I would like to see how it pulls, I am gonna be a little girl for the first 500 miles....
There is dyno sheets showing the SI making 200ish to the wheels?!?! It's the k20z3, so I would expect around the same numbers as the new rsx.... But damn if they are putting down flywheel #'s to the wheels, that would be awesome!!!
And Jim yes this is the newly designed civic SI coupe.... I would never have considered the 160hp flop of a SI from the past years.... YUCK!

Congrats on the purchase. Considered it myself....but the only main thing I dont like about the new civics is the short hood and the rear suspension. Otherwise it does make me very jealous of the LSD and Navi option.....although those are coming soon, just got my JDM folding mirrors ordered and should be here in a week or two from Malaysia.
Good luck with the project, let us know what happens and all the options you got on it.
