i do plan to get one eventually, however i'd like to at least wait for the 2nd gen games to come out so they have a chance to get the kinks out you know. my buddy in minneapolis has one and i noticed that although the cars looked really great in pgr3 (still a bit shiney cg look), the textures of the environments were still kind of 'meh' up close. i didn't think kong on 360 was much better than regular xbox except a bit better lighting and some better textures, but it was still obvious the textures were not meant for high resolution. i am nitpicking but its obvious this first run just isn't using the full capabilities of the machine. they have to realize that they need to step it up on the textures and things like that because the HDTV resolution makes it all the more noticeable. im not gonna blow a wad of cash on this thing until i see what it can 'really' do. i want to see how the ps3 fares as well. just my 2 cents.
