New Year's party in West Fargo leads to numerous citations

A New Year's party here led to a large number of citations, police say.
Officers responded to a residence after receiving complaints about a loud party, just after midnight New Year's Eve.
Twenty-seven people were cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol, including three juveniles, police said. Two of the people also were charged with disorderly conduct, and one for giving false information to officers.
Hey Joel was this the party you were talking about that would never get busted...........

I'd be willing to bet there is NOTHING different this year vs. any other year with drinking/drug related deaths in the area or minors consuming or anything for that matter. It was just a "hot topic" in the news this year and the same shit probably happens all the time, but nobody really cares til one retard decides to drink and take shrooms then goes for a swim in the river and dies in the process.
There are also bigger problems than 17 year olds consuming alcoholic beverages. Drinking and driving is a problem yes, but i think most people, whatever age, realize that drinking and driving is a problem. Sure its illegal and if they do bust people for underage drinking im not gunna argue that they're assholes for doing it, because it IS illegal. There are just bigger problems to go after than a simple party that has minors consuming but not driving. Now with warrents and such involved in this party that makes it different but seriously.......how many of you can honestly say you havent drank under the age of 21?

From what I remember WF cops harass more than any other over stupid shit. I have been pulled over more times afterhours in west fargo for nothing else other than driving, than anywhere I have ever lived. Hence I say fuck WFPD. This was also roughly 5years ago, routine checks or driving over the line my ass. I can remember myself getting pulled over atleast 5 times in 3years being followed and never really having a good reason other than, "have you been drinking" or some other lame excuse as to why they pulled me over and never getting a ticket, just wasting my time. Everytime I knew the cop was following me and never did anything to provoke the incident.

Police do it everywhere...
In the twin cities I was pulled over, and they thought my car was stolen becuase it was regsitered to my mom..
You get harrassed everywhere while driving basically, I've been pulled over 30+ times in the past three years, you just get used to it.

I guess I have a opinion that differs from most on the topic, and it is not really something that you can argue either way, all you can do is address my opinion with with your opnion. Never did I say anything about udnerage drinking or anything to that nature, just the simple fact of my experiences with them, leaving me with a bad opinion on them. So lets not make this a 10page worthless post with aimless bickering.

I have been more then 30 time since 2003 and i know what it feels like to be harrased at times. Jim couldn't have said it any better.
