hey guys it seems that everything i do in the shop these days something just has to go wrong but anyways i put my new obx header in on friday and it is leaking from cylinder 3 but i cant figure out why i cant get it to stop leaking, i think it might be that there is a little peice of header sticking out of the bracket that is keeping it from bolting down flush with everything else, so i am going to try to shave off the unwanted metal and bolt it back on and see if that works, are there any other suggestions to look at, at why it is leaking?

Just plane it out to make sure the surface is flat...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

OBX header. Go get that flange straightened at a machine shop. I guarantee it 100%

I agree, pull the header and bring it in to get decked, shouldnt cost that much. Then put a new gasket in--a good one.

I had an idea like that once. It was a "Jump To Conclusions" mat.
