No reflectors are needed to focus the light like with an incandescent bulb. A fisheye style lense can be used to magnafy the light but it's not always needed, larger led's are bright as hell. Basically lust make sure there staight and point them in the direction you need light. That's my take on them at least maybe some one else can elaborate.
