evo and wrx

so on my way to school this morning on the road inbetween stop and go and MHS i was behind a white 15 passanger van with a car carrier trailer with 8 tires and rims on the front and a evo on the trailer. It had a kit(not 100% sure) rims, lowered. painted pinkish on the top(door handles up), silver(door handles to 1ft. from bottom) and blue the rest of the way down.
and a couple of my friends last night saw a truck with a wrx on a trailer that was dressed up like a rally car. lites and all of that. this was at the stop and go by the high school also
is there some races going on around here or something?
