ya he put it there i believe cause he just had a spot there. and it is just a screen, non motorized

yeah but its smarter to put the tv on the top so you cna see the screen and controlle rthe cd player all the time

I have a remote for a reason. My cd player lights are really bright so the screen covers them up. I also didn't like the fact that the screen covered up the air vents so that if I had the heat on in the winter the screen would get really hot. There's no way to turn off the middle air vents in the civic. ALSO, if my screen is up, why would I need to change songs? I can reach the volume button easily when its up. I didnt just slap it in there cuz there was a free space, There is logic to the placement.

of course there was a reason you put it there....but IMO i'd think it would just be easier to have it on top...but whatever works for you!!

I dont have my screen up unless I'm watching a movie... so why would i need to be able to see the cd player?
