cableone has sucked lately so i dont really blame it on the forums and plus we are linked to supraforums and i bet that has somethin to do with it

Its always been fairly slow, but its gotten worse in the last few days

It is slow every now and then as in page load time. and sometimes its slow to with new posts but thats not where I was going with it. I dont have cabelone either so thats not it. Net is prolly busy in general

There are several factors that go in to play here, one is going to be the average server load, the more proccesses and shit running the server, the slower the pages get served.

Second is going to be the processing power of your computer in the time that it takes to render your pages. This can be huge, especially becuase of the images and stuff invovled with the default template I use. i've noticed slower computers have real problems with it.

Bandwidth is never an issue. The server can provide more bandwidth then we all combined can take (loading regular pages).

One thing Jim did not mention is the route path quality back to his server might suck more dick than elton john, so that could cause issues too.

It never matters how much bandwidth someone has if you cannot get to it through a clean path across the internet.
