I am very impressed that a positive conversation can come about from both ends of this ongoing blah blah blah... I have told everyone at this shop that they are not to respond to any bad mouthing or taunting posts... It simply isn't worth it, and when they do post a hate comment it reflects on the shop, as well as their charactor. There are individuals here that can't/won't/don't get along with individuals at those shops, but I know that we are all adults and those that are willing to be friendly, and courteous should be able to, and those that want to have a problem can do it on their own time, and off the board, I know that things in the past have been said/implied/done that have upset people, but there has to be a time when we all say enough is enough and time to grow up and stop. I can't babysit everybody, but I hope that particular employees here respect my decision to stay off this board unless they have help or info for others, and I will post more positive/helpful info on the board for the guys with questions as opposed to posting strict 'tintmasters' stuff. We all are in this game to make money yes, but we also are in this game to help promote the car scene in Fargo/Moorhead. I will leave it at that, and hope that everybody can settle this and call it square and start fresh... An event at the Fargodome or Civic Center can't be done with just one shop, but if we can get funding from all 5 shops, we could really show the FM area that we ALL are about the import community.... Keep it friendly, keep it fun, and good luck to all at Minnesota Mayhem down the road!

*A side note, on Saturday at noon we are having a show N shine in front of the shop to just hang out and bs, so anybody that wants to come and bring their cars and grills whatever please feel free. SLS/Autowerx guys, it would be nice to see some fully built dsm's show up.... It is free to anyone, and hope after all this today, I can see a few people from other shops bring their toys... This IS NOT a car show, just hang out and have some fun.

      A few quick things:

I'd agree with you that this whole thing hasn't been the most mature way to approach it, in fact its pretty dumb. Look, I don't know Jerry, I really have never talked to him. So I can't claim that I know him in person... If I had known him before all this shit, prob been cool. I don't really know how it all got started, but I dont really care, and really, his car did own me at the track no doubt. Before I said anything about that Hatch, this is my fault, prob should have had all the facts, but you all know how spurting things out happens.

About the nitrous comment, I dont think that guy knew what he was talking about at all...

We all are mad, why? I don't really know... However, I commend you for not just going off on the posts, as provactive as they may have been. After I think about it, theres not real reason to be actually mad...

      Jim

Jim I believe the main reason you and Jerry got off on the wrong foot is because of all the people in the area that love to go shop to shop and spread drama... It was built up into something so big and off the wall that it wasn't worth it. Jerry knows and has said out loud in my presence that you would spank him on the interstate, that is an easy fact. If you have more stuff done, you guys should line up again at the track one night and try it again! FRIENDLY THIS TIME. He won, you changed some stuff, now lets see what the numbers say this time!

Next time I see you I will man up and apologize for all this, and try start this all over... I nor Shane nor anybody here really likes how this all turned out, and don't want it to appear that this is how we are and what we are about.

having more than one shop in town is great. it seems like most places can do just about everything, but each really specializes in one main area, whether it be performance, audio, visual, etc. as far as i can tell (and keep in mind i dont know all the facts) the whole argument is just about egos and who's shop can do what the best. the way it is now, im almost scared to take my car anywhere because i couldnt be sure if they really knew what they were doing, or if they just said they did to get business and say that their shop is the best. i think itd be cool as hell for all 5 places to get together and just put all this stuff behind them, because honestly guys, its really retarded. not only would that reflect better on the shops in town, but id think that would bring better service to us paying customers. 😄

Nuff said..It seems that he's right to the tee.But the question remains is why in the world would he (being the owner of the civic) know that it was'nt ready and still manage to beat up on it like he would?
I mean, come would you buy a brand new car of this year knowing that it does'nt come with a warranty? Inlight of everything said here, your 100% right...peace to you 🙂

I am really happy that things appear to be working out between shops on this board now, because I really liked having all the shops represented here (well, except Type-R, but noone talked shit about him anyway). I agree with Jason that it would be cool for everyone to show up at Tintmasters for a show 'n shine this weekend (or whenever he said it was supposed to take place) just to get to know the other people that are involved in the scene around here. The crazy thing is that I probably know all the shops in town (except Autowerx, but I just haven't had a chance to stop in and say hi over there yet) but only know maybe 5-8 people with rides that are not directly connected to a shop. It would be cool to get to know a few more of you.

Also, Jim, I do appreciate what you have done with this board. So.....you can count on no more shit-talking from me. It's just not worth it. Anyone that I have anything with on this board is done. I'm starting at zero again. Whether they're cool with me....that's up to them.

Thanks Jason, hopefully this clears up alot of junk.
