Do you have to be paid, or is it just a learning thing? I work construction building new houses and you could come and "learn" some of the trade if ya wanted. We do framing and roofing.
Just a suggestion
In about another 2 weeks when the weather stays in the 50's we will be working upwards 70 hours a week.

Your school is able to get you hooked up with a place. That is one of the best things to do especially if you dont know some of the random shops around town. They will do the calling, and let you know. If they aren't willing to do that, well then your school sucks because every single other school out there does it for the students. Id let you come and shadow our shop, but it is up to my boss, and he would prefer the school contact him first.
