covering for airbag hole...

As you all know, The airbags in my del sol were deployed when I bought the car...I pulled the old one out...now I need a covering (carbon fiber?) that will look decent where the huge gaping hole is. could somebody perhaps fiberglass something (then put carbon fiber vinyl over it?)? post it up if ya got any suggestions on what I can do.

I hate you matt...btw, you still want my tore up center console? and yea, let's make it...and soon cuz my car looks even worse with it out haha (if u can believe it)...i need to talk to will. then me and him (and u if u want) can go on a group buy on some carbon fiber vinyl.

you have any other fancy plans seth???...i'm doing it bc it'd be cheap and work well...another airbag wont fit in the dash because the hole is now stretched out to the point of an airbag not covering it...otherwise i'd just put another airbag in it...

torbs if you buy the fiberglass i will make a tray to cover the airbag hole. and then cover it in carbon fiber for you. i'm hella bored and my car is pissing me off so i would like to help.

k, you get the fiberglass and vinyl and i'll pay ya back...i'm sure you know more about what's better (quality wise, etc.) than I do when it comes to that...it needs to be bigger than an airbag though

and blake, are the trays you speak of bigger than an airbag? because my dash really tightened = hole is WAY bigger than airbag
