MTX Civic HERE FRI-SAT
-
We just ran and picked up the MTX Civic from our distributor and now have it out front for anyone who wants to stop by and check it out. 0-60 in 4 days, but damn does it sound great! We have it until tomorrow (Saturday April 22nd) night, so stop by when you get a chance.

Saw it outside RTE, looks good, I don't car for the extremely large, cheap looking wing. There are a lot of things most of us won't like, (ie, it's automatic, stock motor, 200 lbs of fiberglass, stickers everywhere, etc...)
Keep in mind the exterior looks wasn't the main goal, nor was performance, as it is a killer audio car, and sounds very sweet!

Cool, I'll have to check it out some more, I saw it at the show yesterday but didn't have a chance to listen to it there. I do have some video footage and pics of Fish's Fishpedition that I'll post up in the car audio section of the site whenever I find myself not being lazy.

The only thing that didn't impress me about the car was the way you could see the silver backing of the sound dampening material around the rear deck (when looking from outside the car) IMHO it made the install look like it was thrown together in time to barely make a show. Other than that, the fab work was good and from what I hear, the sound was good, but the staging/imaging/dynamics lacked a bit.

I know jason... i was just thinking they might want to make "THE" mtx civic a little more eye catching. They have a bunch of MTX rides. This is probably the best thing the upper midwest will get allocated. At SEMA there was a few of their super high end installs that blew my mind away. This civic was great to show the entry level 4500 series woofers are very versatile. I would bet that the whole install was under $500 including parts...RETAIL. That being said, I was very impressed.
